Overview

This is a pluviometer that has a LAN port to connect with DMCN (Disaster Monitoring and Control Network) and CTC (Central Train Control system). KS7260A is connected with KS717A (tipping bucket type rain sensor) to receive the rainfall information by pulse signal, then it process the signals to output accumulated rainfall in a certain period. It triggers the alarm when the rainfall exceeds a predetermined level. For output ports, LAN, RS232C and alarm interface port are provided. LAN or RS232C port is used to send information for the current rainfall, alarm and emergency. Ongoing alarm and emergency information are sent from the alarm interface port. This system is indispensable to assist safe train operation.

Features

This rain gauge is used by connecting with KS717A (tipping bucket type rain sensor) which installed along railway track.

Once receiving the pulse signal of rainfall from the sensor, it processes the signal to output rainfall amount value per hour, day, etc.

It triggers the alarm in case the rainfall amount exceeds each preset level.

This device is indispensable to assist safe train operation.
