President

Tomohisa Nakamura

We sincerely thank you for your continued usage of our products.

Since our founding in January 1951, we have supplied products to the former Japanese National Railways and numerous other railway operators. We began as a manufacturer and distributor of precision measuring instruments designed to accurately assess track conditions—which inevitably change due to train operations—thereby enabling appropriate maintenance and repair.

Subsequently, leveraging our proprietary measuring instruments, we expanded our focus to include support for track alignment design and improvement, as well as the implementation of systems for railway facilities. Our portfolio grew to encompass the manufacture and installation of weather-related disaster prevention systems, track equipment monitoring systems, and safety devices designed to ensure safe train operations during construction work near tracks. We are proud to serve a wide range of clients across Japan, including JR Group companies, public and private railways in metropolitan areas, and small-to-medium-sized regional railway operators.

We believe our success in earning customer trust stems from our distinctive "one-stop service" model. By fully grasping customer needs, we handle every stage of the process in-house—from product conceptualization, development, design, and manufacturing to delivery, installation, and post-delivery support, including periodic inspections and overhauls. We remain committed to enhancing this one-stop service and delivering the products and systems that our customers desire.

Furthermore, in response to the growing societal demand for safety and security, as well as challenges such as labor shortages, we have strengthened our technology development division and are actively developing new products. Our current lineup includes "in-service vehicle-mounted track geometry monitoring systems" designed to improve track inspection quality and reduce labor requirements. We have also initiated the development of new track measurement devices and other labor-saving equipment to meet the diversifying needs of our customers.

KANEKO marked its 75th anniversary in January 2026. Thanks to the warm support and guidance of our many customers, we have been able to develop and supply a wide array of products and systems, growing into a company that plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of Japan's railways. We extend our sincere gratitude to our customers and business partners for their continued support.

However, we will not rest on our laurels; against the backdrop of a rapidly changing society and global environment, we aim to be a company that effectively meets customer needs and supports essential social infrastructure, including railways.

We remain committed to redoubling our efforts and ask for your continued goodwill and support.
